Analog by nature. Clever when asked.
Thinkblot is a paper notebook for iPhone and iPad, for people who still think best with a pen. It reads your handwriting on the device and leaves the page alone. Where a line could become something, a reminder, a message, a payment, an hour on the calendar, a small blot of ink soaks in beside it. Tap the blot and it's done; ignore it and the page stays a page. There's no account and no server: notebooks live on your devices and in your own iCloud.

Key features
- Tap the blot after a line for the reminder, the drafted message, the payment or the hour on your calendar.
- Circle a line to ask about it. The answer opens under the circle, and the circle stays in ink.
- Write an equals sign and the answer is written in ink. Write total under a column and it adds itself.
- Tick the box on paper and the task is done in Reminders too.
- Voice notes, transcribed on the device, each errand on its own line.
- Each notebook decides how much it reads: Paper, Tasks or Everything.
- Pens worth choosing: fountain, monoline and a brush pen that tapers like the real one. Blank, ruled, dotted, squared and staff paper.
- On iPhone Duo, folded notebooks are covers on a shelf, and Blot notebooks press ink across the fold.
- Private by design: read on the device, kept in your own iCloud, nothing sent until you tap.
